Jeez these things are soooo easy....
Just play tight for the first 30 minutes and make some steals later on and youre in the money.
The compeition is horrible and the tournaments go by fast.
A friend and I have probably made $400 plus in like 2 months playing these things.(probably 4 tournaments a week)

$6.50 turbos on ps

I call bullshit. 4 tourneys x 8 weeks = 24 tourenys
24x6.5 = $156 Investment
$400(profit)/$156(investment)=256% ROI? I don't buy it. Post your numbers“There's no sense in being precise when you don't even know what you're talking about.” - John von Neumann

I assumed 25-45% was average, being the high and low in that range.

When i first started playing turbos, i placed in 11 out of the first 14 of them. Since then, i have played a few every so often but just don't seem to be doing as well anymore. I am trying to figure out what i was doing before that made me so consistent, but my point here is, i think it is very possible to make as much as bob says, you just need to have a really good/consistent strategy. This probably isn't as true when the tournaments are for more, but the $6.5 turbos are definitly a game that can be beat.
As Mike Mcdee says from rounders:
"I can beat the game"

Certainly possible, I've calculated short term ROIs (such as over the course of two weeks) and streaks like that don't seem so rare (esp for the format of his game turbos give you a higher fluctuation). So my take on this is that he's been a lucky son of a bitch.
Edit: plus he's obviously cheating with his friend
and bonch it's actually a 123% ROI since his friend is in there two, so you have to double initial investment.
