Tournament endgame question
Ok I'm sitting in the BB with K3o, nice stack and someone raises 3xBB from EP or MP. Also decent stack. Should I call (just for the 3:1 pot odds), or fold this weakling? This situation just occured to me with 300/600+Ante level (I folded)

you're getting 9:4 (2.25:1) on your money not 3:1
villian raises to 1800, 300 sb(i assume fold), 600 bb, you need to call 1200 to win 2700.
good fold

Fuck the math. You're out of position. Fold.

Depends on how you are playing postflop.
Are going to check down a king, then call a bet on river when he has made 2 pair/straight?
Are you going to bet out K high flop and fold to any raise fearing you're outkicked?
Just not worth getting involved with such margianl hands. If the 3-1 on your money leaves you or opponent all in, then call. If not fold.

Yeah I'm just curious cause in the STTs I usually play, this situation rarely arises. It's almost always over before the antes kick in. But in this MTT endgame situations you sometimes get huge pot odds.

I need to evidence from individuals to believe that being in EP is dictating their play- not vice versa. Fact is that he's OOP to in general, let alone the fact that this was a raised pot so there's a raiser with position on him.
