Pineapple hand, or maybe crazy pineapple, I forgot the difference. I'll explain the rules to anyone who doesn't know.
Each player dealt 3 hole cards, preflop is like normal holdem. You see the flop then everyone discards 1 hole card after the bets. Then play it like normal hold-em. We play it pot-limit, but that isn't importnat.
Anyway, I'm deal![]()

in late position, maybe the cutoff. 2-3 limpers and I limp with them.(is this wrong?) I'm playing it mainly for big hand potential, as an overpair isn't very strong. Button calls SB pots it and we lose the BB and 1 limper. This generally means he has AAx or another pretty strong hand , since he rarley raises preflop.
4 to the flop (EPlimper, Me, Button, SB)

Pretty ragity, not a bad flop for me. SB checks(?) EP bets like 1/2 pot and I min-raise him(maybe a mistake here).
What I'm thinking is if I can get head-up JJ might be good. If not I get a free card. Button folds SB cold-calls EP calls.
I muck the offsuit jack.
Turn:
EWW
Check check check(ok maybe no one had a set)
River:
Sb checks ep checks, I pot it. Sb calls and EP folds.
I show him the straight, he had KK and said he tossed an Ace..
I',m really new to this game and looking for any advice on how to play this hand. I won it, but that doesn't mean I played it well.

If he had KK doesn't he win?
I assume he had kings up is what you meant. Nothing wrong with how you played this hand.
I might fold on the flop though, with 2 to a suit your straight draw isn't so good with just 6 pure outs.Read my musings on poker and life at Online Poker Examiner, Poker Examiner, PokerNewsBoy.com, and My Poker Blog

UB spreads the game, but it is all limit.
I feel like you are right to dump the pair and go for the stronger draw.

Ok in theory, if I get heads up, are you keeping JJ then?

no JJ is likely already beat, and has very few redraws to a better hand.

Crazy Pineapple is where you get three, and discard one after the Flop betting round. PIneapple is where you discard one preflop I believe. There is also P 8ob and CP 8ob, but its like HE Hi/Lo where you can play 12 or 0 cards from your hand.
QJJs is a strong hand in Crazy P. Painted pair with 0-gap suited connectors. PL, I may have bet the pot PF, but I'm far from an expert in CP. This is a hand that you probably want heads up early, to play the pair, but of course if you had the straight and flush draw, thats the stronger hand. Especially if you think hes got the overpair to your JJ. Of course AKKs is a lot stronger.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

Pre-flop: I like the limp, and the call after the raise.
Flop: I either fold or just call. 1/2 the pot isn't a large bet, and may be worth it.
Turn: Fine lol.
River: Perfect.
