    Default to many bad beats

At my weekly poker game I am famous for having bad beats, last week had to be the worst.

    I had A-10 against a Q-7

I raised big preflop, he called.

    flop is 4-2-8

He is first to act, it is a big pot, 1/3 of my chips already in. He call me all-in, withing a split second I called flipped over and everyone was patting me on the back, what an amazing call, I had a feeling he had nothing. 7 comes on river and I loose.

There were 2 more very bad beats to the same guy, but no need to list them. Sounds stupid but, Any tips on avoiding bad beats.

Fold every hand, or always go in when you know you have the worst hand. I can guarantee you'll have no more bad beats. Other than that, no tips..

Keep pots small against calling stations so that you don't lose too many chips on the bad beats.

I don't think I agree with this. I like to make calling stations pay since they are so willing to do so. Sure the bad beats become worse when the pot is bigger but you make up for it when some donkey calls you all the way down with middle pair/weak top pair/draw/etc.

    What I mean is...
If you have a drawing hand like AK-AT and these jokers will call a 4BB raise pf with Q7, then what's the point of the raise? See cards cheaply and try to hit a monster. Put the money in when you have a very good hand. Even better if you get it in on the turn with only 1 card to come and they haven't hit their draw. Let them bluff successfully at some small pots and pick them off when they bluff and you have a flush/str8/set.
