In our home game we play .5/$1 NL. When a pot hits $8 we rake $1 for the bad beat/bonus pot.

If your AA gets cracked you get to roll dice. If you roll a 12 you get 1/12 the pot if you roll Snake eyes you get 1/2 the pot, roll 7 1/7 etc...

If your AA hits a set and loses you get 1/2 the pot.
Two other ways to get jackpot (non AA related, in case anyone likes this idea and wants to implement it into their home game) If your PP hits quads you get 25% of pot and if your two hole cards make straight flush 25% of pot. Hence the pot will always have something in it. No one hand can clean it out.

Right now at both houses, we play sunday and thursday nights each pot is at $200. Everyone is limping in with AA trying to keep pot small, so they do not have to invest much and have a chance to roll dice. NO ONE CAN GET THEM CRACKED misplaying them as bad as you can.

Most recently, I limped in and had one other limper and SB and BB in a 4-way pot. We all end up checking, no betting ever takes place, which is un-heard of with my crew, I have AA with no club and four clubs hit board I think nice PAYDAY and no one bets still so I have a $1 investment that could bring $100 if I roll well of course, but even a bad roll makes me a $15 profit......guess what no one had a club and my AA won pot.

This is happening over and over in both our games and obviously our bonus/bad beat pot is growing. Two weeks ago same scenerio as mine with four clubs on board my buddy had hit a set with his AA and no one had club.

So my advice with AA, try to make them lose LOL.
