Drawing cheaply at the micros
Hello
I just wanted to ask for your opinion on the this
I was thinking about the differences of playing NL at the micros and it occured to me that with your drawing hands against the larger stacks i dont think the general rules of drawing apply greatly as your implied odds (with the level of bad play down their being a major factor) are huge (oppinets stack) and although you may call 10c into a 20-30c pot incorrectly i think your implied odds on the occasion someone down their can't release a hand (and folding is against their religion once they have shown strenght or comitted a bit) make up for it
Now this doesn't mean to say calling 70c into a $1 pot with a gutshot or even an open ender is right...im talking more about when the pot is small and the bet is small...
What do you guys think of this reasoning?
I personally think drawing hands are some of the most profitiable at the micros because of peoples inability to think about the relative strengh of their hand by assesing the texture of the board (meaning big and often pay offs) and the fact the will often bet very small into the pot with some very strong hands often giving you the odds to continue drawing.
