Yeah, but since you didnt raise he was getting 9:1 to call on the flop. His turn call sucked.

The river is an easy bet.

I was actually thinking about a 3-bet, but that's a closer/tougher decision.

I don't agree, too many draw completed by that time. And if not draws, at least some two pair hands.

Steve, you could very well be right, but I would rather check-call on a board like this. I can't say definitely what is the best EV.

you really couldnt have had a worse river card... almost every possible drawing hand was hit on it, and you have a set, so ur stuck paying him off on it.... i'd say a check-call situation
