Ok, it's pretty obvious the high pairs are good enough for slow-playing shorthanded, since usually you're not happy to just get the blinds.
But how about AK/AQ, will you slowplay this & under which circumstances?
Say it's 3-handed, you're on the button with AK, will you ever limp? Currently, if the blinds are high enough, I tend to push it a lot, but I'm not sure that's ideal. Although I get called by a weaker ace from time to time, mostly I just pick up the blinds.

I assume this is a STT. If the players aren't complte idiots, I may just push it. If they fold, I'll show, hoping for some credibility once I start moving in with any two cards. Also,if there is a solid STT player at the table, he might put me on nothing and call with a hand like Ax or Kx thinking he's ahead.
I'm trying to think if this is the best way to play it, but is 6:30 in the morning, so I'm still asleep.

I'm constantly baffled when people call 2/3 of their stacks before the flop and check/call the rest with shit or worse- they'll check/fold. If you were gonna go all the way, push it in before the flop. There's little you can fold to postflop with AK and ridiculous blinds and even when your opponent doesn't bet, you're leaving chips in their stack that should be in yours. More importantly, they're still there with a chance to win when you can be playing heads-up to win.
3-handed, I hate slowplaying. You give your opponents too many chances to assess the relative strength of their hands when all you have is Ace hi. If you are primarily an STT player, you slowplay an AQ 4-6 handed to give yourself a way out of the hand to money that make up for bad runs in the future.
