Default Did I play these right? Advice or opinions pls

Can get converter to work so have written it down instead.

    20 left in MTT - 269 started $5+.50 - Blinds are 800/1600

I have around 20k in chips

    Dealt to me (Hero)

    Jd Jh

    raise to 4800, 1 caller

    Flop:

    JavaScript, 2s, 8s,

Hero bets 4800, Villian raises 22,000 and is all in, hero calls 12,000ish

    Villian show Ah Ks

    Turn: 7s

    River: Jc

Hit trips on the flop, he turned a flush on the turn and I hit my J on the river. Was this lucky by me, bad play by me or bad play by him?

    Opinions greatfully accepted

    Default 2 hands later

    2 hands later - blinds still 800/1600

Hero has 40k ish and is in BB - Villian has over 150k

    Hero: 5h 5s

New villian raises to 3200 all fold to me and I call (might have been the first thing I did wrong)

    flop: 5d 5c Qh

    Vilian checks, hero checks

    Turn

Villain checks, hero bets 3200, Villian calls

    River Ac

Villian Checks, hero bets 32k, Vilian calls and mucks

I think i played this all wrong but need your help. The bet after the river was supposed to be a massive overbet to make him think I had missed my draw and it seemed to work but again would like to know your thoughts

    Hope it all made sense

    Thanks

well in hand 1 you called a huge raise, and were right that you were ahead. So good play
hand 2 you got someone to get all-in when you have quads , so again good play

    First hand:
Pot is around 32k and its 12k to call. About 2.6 to 1
Even if he has a made flush, you have 1 out for quads, 6 outs to fill up, and count 1 more out for runner, runner pair to fill up. That's 8 outs, 32% chance of hitting on turn or river, or about 2.1:1 odds.
Even if he isn't drawing or bluffing, you have odds to call. Of course, there is a good chance that he's still drawing, so its a good call.

    Second hand:
pf call depends on villain. Has he been bullying and raising with less than premium hands? I don't mind the call as you have implied odds to draw to a set. You also have position.
Turn: I would bet at least half the pot or more (4-6k?). If he hasn't made a hand yet, it is unlikely he will make it on the river. With KQh on the flop, he may have a FD or Str8 draw. If so, get his money in on the turn.
    River: I like the push.

hand one... a made flush isnt gonna try to blast you out of the pot with an allin raise... you correctly read that you were ahead and made a proper call.... nicely done
