just check he either has an ace for a split or has you beat with a flush or boat. if he's playing a medium pair you miss a bet but gain a nice note on this player.

Given its probably low-limit, I put him on Ax, where you kicker will play, I say bet for value and call a checkraise. Hes playing in hopes his kicker is good. Bet away!

Definitely bet...the times you get called by an inferior hand should make up for the times you either get nipped by the chase on the diamond flush or the renegade 2.
