I have had the Party DOOM switch on me since last weekend. I have been playing kinda scared ever since. It seems like everytime I have a good hand I run into something better. This hand came up and I just didnt know what to do when he called my turn bet. I ended up checking the River. Someone please correct my play. I may already know the answers but I need to hear it from some other people.

What's your history with him?

Flop bets good. He's got $22 left, so I'm playing it like you, but value betting about $8-$9 on the river. He's not gonna bluff you all in because you're sending an "I'm coming to play" message. A full house is only real scare here and I don't see him not raising your less that 1/2 pot bet on the turn with anything that beats you. You have the best hand. The river's not bad to check because 77 is very possible, but still I see a probe raise on the flop or turn with 77. 55 and 45 are all I see that beats you here. Otherwise, you'll get the $8 or $9 with JJ-99. I think we can throw AA and QQ out the window against most opponents here as well.

AK, AQ, AJ, and KQ fold, but you're not getting another dime out of him with those anyway.

Yeah, sorry. He was raising small amounts like this, sometimes with something decent, sometimes with crap like A10 off. I seriously saw this preflop raise as some kind of weird, weak stab at the pot. I didnt have him pegged as a calling station though. Maybe why I got so scared after the turn call.

Crap, I was doing so much at once, I'm re-raising him to $3 PF. You'll be for damn sure that you're safe to go:

$6 on the flop
$10 on the turn
$10-Everything on the river.

I'd like $10 on the river because he's playing his starting hand without help from the board.
