Hi there,
I feel as though i am playing really well but i keep running into monster hands.
I'f I flop a set they stay in it even though i have bet the pot or check raised them to hell and they end up getting a fullhouse.
I have had A/A 4 times today get cracked by jacks setting.
Its not like i'm starting with k/10 and then whine when an ace hits thats not what i'm talking about. Its like i gat into a position when i am 85% favored (i end up checking afterwards with a calculator) and they pop the only out they have.
If it was once or twice i can see it but golly, it seems to happen whenever i have a big hand.
is there anything to do in this situation? tighten up even further? I am already playing way too few hands because of this. Has this happened to anyone else?
The one that triggered this post is this I had a/k in SB i raise 3 x BB he calls. Flop comes A / 7 / 8 I bet 3/4 pot. he raises. I get suspicious but call. K on the turn. I make another bet for about 1/2 the pot he calls. 8 flops on the river. he goes all in. I call thinking he may have a set but at this point i am pot committed anyways. he shows 7/8 and has full house.
Maybe its that i should have gotten away from the hand when he raised. I dont know. This seems to happen ALL THE TIME TO ME!!!!!!!!

good players get more bad beats, as they get their money in when they have the best of it and bad players do it lots
Don't even think about changing things just because of bad beats, change them if you think they need looking intoWealthymarketer, the latest and greatest way to earn online.
