    Default WSOP ME satellite

OK I have an MTT at 4PM and the first prize is a 12K WSOP ME package. 2nd prize: 300$!!!

    What a gap!

    around 500 entrants.

What should be my strategy in the early and mid stages of the tournament?

My plan is to play a very agressive game all the way, hoping to win coin flips and gain the maximum fold equity on every hand I play...

Not saying I will reraise PF with 96o, but push every playable hand to the maximum.

Any suggestion is welcome. If you ever played in such a weird satellite, tell me a bout the game conditions it brought...

You need to build a big stack early.

    Well, pretty much it's winner take all. . . . .

These are fairly crappy tournaments (large field, essentially winner take all), so don't feel bad if you bust out.

You have to play for 1st all the way, so I'd push a lot of edges early in hopes of building a big stack and then just relentlessly attack the table. Given the limited number of payouts (2), I'd either want to hit a home run or not waste my time playing for 4 hours nursing a medium stack only to finish 13th or something like that. . .

But a free entry is a free entry, and I'd definitely play and play to dominate (which is what you'll need to do), not just play well . . .
Jason75: Ok, you check and the button bets 400. Now what?
    Beavis68: You play poker.
Jason75: Darn, I was really hoping for canasta. Maybe Gin.
