Yes I understand this one is pretty straightforward. But is there any preventing this OOP? Perhaps a check raise on one of the streets? Or do you think they just check it all the way to the river and then bet like crazy? I think maybe in retrospect a check-raise the turn may have gone a good ways.

yeah these hands are back to back. It seems to be my night, to be outdrawn. But why, is it just bad luck or am I miss playing them?

Ok, I hAVE To be doing something wrong here. Am I not raising enough? Am I over playing this hand? WHAT? THere has to be a reason for me being outdrawn!!!!

EDIT: I screwed up and use the wrong converter. All you need to know is the villian held Q5os.

EDIT 2: On these outdraws I lost 60'ish BB, wow that hurts. Today has been hard on being outdrawn on rare chances! Long term baby, long term (yes I kow I have posted that ALOT!!!) If I make money today, I will be happy, thats alot to get back from!

Obviously you have been unlucky with these outdraws but I do think that you could play the river less aggresively in some of the hands.

When you have a straight on the board with three 4's that should be a check-call or even check-fold on river. When you are betting what do you think your oponnent can call with that you are beating?

Similarly when you have AK. Espeically with that 3rd club falling. I would be check-calling there.

1st hand i wouldnt cap with AK, too much of a drawing hand to me, but seeing as to waht they played maybe you had a read on the table or something. also i dont see why you CR the river, you only have two pair on a paired boared that has straight and flush possibilities. check/call at best here.

2nd hand you just got outdrawn and you played it well enough.

3rd hand is just another bad outdraw, you got your pair on the flop and althouth your kicker is weak no one is showing any strength that you should be concerned about. on the turn you got the second best card you could hope for, what i dont understand is the action. how did you raise your own raise, anyway...it was right to raise in your position and on the river is was correct to just call.

The converter could have gotten it wrong.

Thanks for all the help, it seems that I either am way too passive on the river or I try to get crazy, I will keep posting hands until I get this corrected!

I wouldn't have capped PF and I wouldn't have 3-bet the flop. TPTK isn't that strong in a family pot. I don't understand why you bet the turn, not being the aggressor or why you raised the river.
