I was sitting around one day w/ my hair glistening in the sunlight, when im like "oh shit.. I just realized that I never bust ppl in Mtts, they always bust me!"
its true.
I dont play them often, but I cant remember the last time I busted someone. If i go all in and win, they have me covered, If i go all in and lose... they had me covered.
ill prolly bust 3x for every 1 time i bust someone. so my ratio is 3:1. that said.. I think im +EV in MTTs, thanks to 2 or 3 FTs and 1 win. however I still dont like my ratio. Im usually out before the first break.
surely there are ppl with close to opposite raios of mine, busting 3ppl before the bust, no?

IM me when you're playin' a tourney. If I'm lucky, I'll draw your table.

I'll take coin flip risks against people I have covered and not against those I don't early on and build my stack, so I'm not in that position for a couple of hours. I see way too many call all of their chips on coin flips and maybe that's what you're doing. I also see a ton of people re-raising all of their chips with AK, AQ, and mid tosmall pairs when they have position on the raiser. That's another "NO-NOOOO! NO-NO NO-NO NO-NO NO-NO NO-NOOOOOOOOOOO!" The greatness of having position on a raiser is that you can catch them with their dick in their hands and they have you covered, they'll get scared to make continuation bets a lot of times when they miss because they're afraid of you coming over the top of them and they wanna save face.
That's a little piece of reverse psychology that you can play with because there are a lot of people that think whenever a smaller stack calls their raise, it's a setup.
I can think of a ton of reasons, but those are what pop into my head when I hear that from people.
