Some more brain picking curiosity from me:
What are you doing here? Autocall. Only 33 left in a field of 1735. Are you folding? Are you autopushing instead of raising? Why is your choice the best chance to win? Fuck "in the money." Tournaments are about top 5, at least.
SB is tight as hell. I've been the BB on his CO hands and he hasn't open-raised any pots and hasn't stepped up to me all game. I just lost 140k with KK the hand right before this one.

If you're calling this in a second, what is the worst hand that you will call with?

I am calling. A few reasons......
Your play looks like a steal, and he has seen you do it to him all night.
You just took a tough loss of a good chunk of your stack. He knows it and may think you are steaming.
He probably has an ace and decided to push back on you.
You have him covered and can survive losing here.
You want to win? Then you are looking to double up....heres your chance.

So we have some idea of your read on him - what do you suppose his read is on you?

He has a short stack (M = 8) so all-in isn't a bad move to try and steal the blinds or re-steal a blind steal attempt but you are UTG+1 so could hardly be on a blind steal!! No - this guy has a real hand and is willing to put it on the line! Question is how good a hand? Would a TP go all-in pf with AA or would he be more likely to 'play' more chips out of ya post flop? Would KK or QQ be more likley to make the all-in? Somehow, I can't see a TP making this move with AK or less - they would likley just re-raise (maybe??) or call and see the flop.
From what you said about the guy I'm going to guess he has you beat with either KK or QQ - possibly AA but not as likley unless he was pretty sure you would call any all-in.

when I raise at this phase of the tournament, I am usually planning on calling any of the guys that dont have me covered or are close to my stack.
That is why I like to bet a little more. want to be committed vs the guy with about 100,000 in chips, and look serious to the big stacks. I really dont want to take flops with hands like QQ and JJ and AK at this stage because there is not enough room post flop.
There is going to be almost 50k in the pot if you get called, and you are OOP.
You didnt do that though, so who knows.

So, what happened?
I'd probably fold, there is no way he's putting his tourney on the line with anything less than Queens.Chuck Norris put the "laughter" in manslaughter..

guys, according to alex, sb is "tight as hell"
what do you think a "tight as hell" player is risking his tournament life here on?
this is all about his range. what do you think hes pushing with.
imo, a tight as hell player might make this move with AJ+ 88+
thus, i think its a fold. (unless he has less chips and the pot is offering better odds, or, we have more of our money in the pot)
have we seen him make this type of move before alex?
