I think im too passive but my reasoning was it was multiway and i had middle pair...could have got costly later?
i fold to much action post flop with out a good hand or little people in the pot with good odds

^ Listen to him. Keep calling until it is too costly to do so.

You mean i should have called that a little further...i just find people at the micros will say check to the river then if there's 2-3 people left throw in a bet to see how lucky they can get....which i mean out of 9 people initially int he pot whats the chances at my 66 was teh highest ranking hand (albeit 2 pair but everyone got that)

The only hands you're drawing dead against are QQ, 99 and Q9. Otherwise, approach this as you have the worst with 2 outs to having the best hand. There are 47 unseen cards, 45 of them don't help you.
2/45+2/44= 0.09= 9%
100-9=91
91:9= 10:1
You're 10:1 to hit your full house on the turn or river and you're getting 16:1 odds on the pot ($0.02 to call to win the $0.34 in the pot). Now, you're roughly 24:1 to hit on the turn. So if you can take down a $0.48 pot (excluding your flop call) on the turn, you should call the flop.
i.e.
AK bets 2c, You call, gregi calls.
You miss the turn. There's 36c in the pot
AK bets 12c. You're getting bad odds, so you fold.
But you're gonna spike that 6 once out of 25 times, when you do...
AK bets 12c. You can call because your full house isn't vulnerable. You're guaranteed the $0.46 to almost pay off your flop call. He's gonna bet the river. You've received full value. You can raise. If he doesn't bet, you only need 2c for full value. Bet 12c at him and you're making a long term profit that will cover your losses calling minimum flop bet to hit a full house or set.
Re-read the thread that you posted where you copied/pasted Ed Miller's words from folding too much on the micros.

Ok lol
I need to start using pot odds and card odds more lol..i generally just go on feel at the minute...would something like texas calculatem be good for learning as i dont really want to have to sit there with a calculator...as if texas calculatem is accurate you could simply..use it for a while and eventually they would start to stick in your head right?
How much do you guys use pot odds and card odds in your play...how often are your decisions based on it?

i think about the pot odds in 100% of the decisions i make. whether im figureing out my odds, or the odds that im giving my opponent. my pot odds dont make my decisions but they play a role in decison making process
