    Default Play this hand

Second hand of a 180 man SNG where people tend to be pretty loose and either build a stack or bust. Tell me if you play PF and the flop any different... and what you do for the remaining streets:

    1. Flop: similar bet, bet more, push?
    2. Turn: Check or bet (if bet how much?)
    3. River play:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) CP hand converter

    CO (t1500)
    Button (t1490)
    SB (t1300)
    BB (t1400)
    UTG (t1500)
    Hero (t1500)
    MP1 (t1500)
    MP2 (t1810)
    MP3 (t1500)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with , .
    1 fold, Hero raises to t100, 1 fold, MP2 calls t100, 3 folds, SB calls t90, BB calls t80.

    Flop: (t400) , , (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets t400, MP2 calls t400, SB folds, BB folds.

    Turn: (t1200) (2 players)
    Hero??

    River: (t1200) (2 players)
    Hero??

I like what you dd PF, but people play SnG's so fast so early that I think he's raising you with a set. or higher pair but with this board I don't think he's folding 77-44 and 22 because when the average people have pairs, they put their opponents on AK and vice versa. You don't know where the Ace of clubs is, so KcQc and QcJc are all you're protecting against.

I wouldn't have a problem with you pushing on the turn. Too many draws.

You get beat by KJ not suited?

PF - Im raising to 200 here.
Flop - Im looking to check-raise all in. If the board is draw heavy, I may put out a ps bet, then push the turn.

from the way u played it - im pushing this turn. if he has me beat then fuck it. I could see him having JJ here from the way he played it.

What a horrible turn card, makes the flush and the straight very possible here.

    River is just as bad.

I like the way you played this pre-flop and on the flop, I think the 100 bet is fine (you don't want to bet so much that you just pick up the 30 in blinds), and pot-size on the flop is good.

You've been unlucky with villian calling the bet on the flop and then unlucky again that one of the worst possible cards going came on the turn.

I would be looking to invest as little as possible, I think I would bet out again on the turn as he may have called with top pair but if I get a raise, depending on size, I'll either call it down or chuck em away. Same again on the River.

    What happend?
Bad Beat of the week 27/08/2006:

    :kh :jd

    Flop - :jc :3s :6d I raise 2/3 pot, Villian calls.

Turn :kd - I raise to put villian all in, he calls

he flips over :4d :4s

River :4c

I took myself out of the tournament.... tilt style.

I lost to a TJo, I should have pushed the turn, and I got pissed at myself for not doing it. So I bet about 200 on the river, he went AI. I called knowing I lost the hand, but at that point I didn't feel like trying to battle my way through a tournament with a short stack and a full field.

*Edit* I had the original monster hand he had wrong

Not to be results oriented, but he should of pushed really, really slow as to not get a call and win the pot.

I would bet large to screw his odds for drawing when i new that it was a possibility..but if he fought back and i had a read on his play which (or betting structure) which mad me think he had that kind of hand to completle the straight/flush i would try and cheaply go through or fold

    Cheers
