I'm not disagreeing that I made a dodgy move Jason, I agree and it's exactly why I don't ordinarily play suited connectors early in SnGs, but given that I have a pair of tens on the flop surely a call from Adxd is a thing I'm happy with?

Just for the record I think the correct move was for me to fold preflop.

I don't like any of the options I'm presented with on the flop and the chances of getting a flop that I am happy with are really small. I don't hugely object to my push but I think it's very marginal given the obvious lack of a read, I said it before to someone else "surely the fact that my read was wrong is enough to prove that my read was wrong". Sometimes the best way to avoid making marginal or bad decisions is to not be in the hand in the first place

I'm picking at this thread like a dry scab...

This is very true.

Rex . . . just reread my post, and it comes off as very negative. Sorry for that, it's not at all what I intended.

After all, if I could count the bad plays I made with 9T . . . (thinking back to my final hand in the PartyPoker Sunday Millions Tournament where I took my 9To against BB's QQ) . . . it'd be a lot. At least you won your hand and tripled up!

I think if the field were smaller, you had raised PF (would give you some info - not saying I'd raise here), the blinds were bigger, etc. . . . reraising allin here could virtually be a no-brainer. If we thought we'd get a single call from Adxd/Kdxd, this might not be a bad play.

I actually wouldn't mind you folding on the flop (can already hear the weak tight comments coming) if spewing off chips is a concern. I'd tell a weaker player to push, but (IMO) you're a very good player, and you can definitely get your chips in better situations.

Ahh, very kind. Let's manhug.

Thanks for the comments and they are exactly what I was looking to hear. As for folding the flop, I was thinking about the merits of that while typing this thread up... I think this is a hand where calling, folding, raising or pushing the flop are all options and I don't really like any of them
