Default moving from STTs to Ring games

I currently play a lot of STTs $10+1 and above, I am currently making a small profit per month. I am looking to boost my profit and was thinking that playing ring games could be the answer.

I have played a few before and usually start well and then get f**ked over.

What I'd like to know is...

How do you select a "juicy" table? and how do you know when to leave?

Are there any differences from tournemant style to ring style I should be looking out for?

Is 6max easier than full ring?

Should I be looking to only play premium hands or should you play a variety and try to bluff?

What sort of buy-in should I be going for at the start. I have about $300 in my pacific poker account.

Any other hints or tips much appreciated.

I'm not really a ring game player so you'll get better answers later...

I double up then leave. I avoid tables where many people have higher amounts than the max buyin, could indicate luck but also skilled players.

It's an entirely different game, as far as I'm concerned. With low blinds you don't need to panic and go all-in with crap.

    That depends on your skills.

it completely depends on the type of player you are

full ring is playing tight waiting for big hands to stack donks

6 max is playing more hands than you would at a full table, and requires better post flop play. the tables also tend to be looser at 6max, full ring is where all the tight nits play.
