If you concerned with value betting the river, you must think your ahead. In which case you should have raised the turn up, looks like a blocking bet to me. But I'm def not betting this river either.

i thought i was ahead more than 50% of the time, but usually the min raise indicates great strength
i probably wouldnt bet a safe river either, as you can see i wanted a cheap showdown

I got that, but I dont think pot control = giving your oppoents odds to draw. Mabye its b/c where I play I see min-raises all the freakin time, so I dont give em too much respect.

You could be up against JT. He was double gutted on the flop or has a BAD K.

you played this good imo.. i woulda played it the same..
im definately not betting the river...
good pot control as well, you dont really want to raise turn deepstacked, for fear of KQ 88

would you call a 20$ bet on the turn? if no, then I think you should fold flop.
that said, I dont fold b/c its A frea'n K. Ill prolly c/r the turn b/c his bet looks so weak. I c/r turn all in.

if he was drawing to a flush he makes it,in which he shoulda value bet on river so that possibility is out the window, i don't see anyone playing a oesd really that aggressivly with flush possibility out there (leaving the essentially 6 outs), and min raise in this situation really means nothing cause sum ppl are just to lazy to fix the tab to a certain amount. He may have check raised kq or q8 to protect against the flush and got scared when the jh came, or he has a k with kicker problems and tried to take the lead in the hand. One thing i know about weak players (which i'll just assume he is) is that they rarely check raise while bluffing and always with strength. I'd say on a guess q8 or a k with kicker problems. Small possibility of 88.. but on how you played that hand i liked it, that board in that situation creates a variety of dangerous hands which could beat ak...
