Heres my two pennys worth.
Pre flop:
I like the steal attempt; why not? You've got a tight image.
With the re raise I smell either a good play or a good hand and you can give the player credit for both. I probably just call (8,400 chips left still looks workable on this table) and lay down under pressure unless something good happens on the flop.
The re re raise (with what is not a strong holding) depends on whether you are prepared to go all in with this hand to get anything from it after the flop.
Flop:
Having raised and called pre flop you may still get a check on the paired flop from the villain. If not a check then I would expect a tentative probe bet. You now want drawing cards. The question here is do you take the next free card or raise to get your two cards at good value (or better win the pot right there).
If I'm playing with an average chip stack then I take as many free cards as you can. If short stacked then raise / reraise to try and get back into contention.
