Building a bigger pot?

raise more on the flop
bet the turn
bet the river
you played the hand like you wanted a small pot. in the long run trying to get the biggest possible pot from a strong but 2nd best hand makes you more money than trying to milk average/weak hands for a few $'s. you can just call the flop or raise, but i would lead out on the turn. if he has nothing and folds you wernt winning a big pot anyway, and the idea is to get a big pot by the river so hes committed and you can get all your chips in.

either, check-raise the flop big (like 1.50-2.00 raise)
OR check-call the flop
then check-raise the turn big.

It's all about playing your opponents at this point.
I had a very similar hand just yesterday, I had 78o in the BB and got let in for free, hit 456 rainbow, SB checked, I checked and the large stack made a raise, SB folded and I waited for a while then flat called. turn was a K and this time after my check the large stack made a big raise, I obviously called. I check-raised (all-in) on the river and he called showing KQ.
In this example I was lucky that he hit top pair but I think he probably would have kept betting anyway as he was that sort of player. My point being, I knew he was aggressive, I knew he would try and push me off as he had way more chips than me so I let him try it until he was commited to the hand then bam all-in.
Obviously if he was a calling station it would be bet, bet, bet. You have to play your opponents styles against them so make sure you keep an eye on everyone!Bad Beat of the week 27/08/2006:
:kh :jd
Flop - :jc :3s :6d I raise 2/3 pot, Villian calls.
Turn :kd - I raise to put villian all in, he calls
he flips over :4d :4s
River :4c
