    Default Reckless or spot on?

Only a few hands played with this villian but he loved to raise everything hoping to catch even with rags.

Well, if he often played like this totally empty I guess it's reasonable. Why do you bet the river though? He doesn't sound like the guy folding a pair of fours here.

river bet is stupid anything he check folds you have beat and he sounds like the kind of guy who is going to call you with any pair so just check the river

otherwise well played, sounds like you have got him down nicely

    Mer...... I dunno.

3 handed with 2 aggy players, and one of them mindless (so you say), then it's turning into a very expensive lottery very fast.

I think There are more profitable (or at least better variance) tables to be found.

Why are you gambling with a guy who WILL give you his money. Fold pre-flop and wait for a hand. nothing worse than re-raising a maniac with a meh hand, only to have him flip over pocket Sixes at the end. They don't always have rags you know. Wait til you have a hand worth 3 betting.

The table dried up shortly after this, and I wound up getting off anyway. But when it was just me and him he'd raise everytime, if I decided to keep folding isn't it just costing me more money? A hand or two before this I had AK and 3 bet his raise which I showed down.

Edit: Sorry it wasn't Qx, it was A2..caught a 2 on the flop.

I have a hand somewhat similar to this I've been meaning to post. Maybe I'll get to it tonight.

What do you call dried up if this was only 3 way???

I don't mind SH play when I'm dumped into it, and I don't mind 2-3 way limit play to start a table, but I like to be the guy doing the raising, not be up against another maniac.

^ Basically everyone sat out, then left. It was a full 6 at first dropped down to 3-4 filled up again, then we basically wound up here. I'll stay on a table a bit if it drops down 3-4 handed for a while.

This was 6 max to begin with.
