Who's calling and who's letting this go?
$5 dollar SNG table is pretty standard for the level, all in's PF with small PP, A rag, etc.
Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t25/t50
7 players
Converter
Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is UTG+1 with![]()
![]()
UTG calls t50 (pot was t75), Hero raises to t250, MP1 folds, CO raises all-in t1660, Button raises all-in t3345, 3 folds, Hero??

Hmm. yep, I call. I think your ahead more than 33% of the time here, and its a SNG, just open another if ya lose.
BB is t100
Preflop: Hero is UTG with :3d :5d,
Hero raises to t500

I would be hard pressed to fold that in a SnG.
Jacks I could fold.
KK I call.
QQ, I probably close my eyes and call.
Wait, given you description, insta call.
There is always another SnG eh?

ya but with this mentality your never gonna win a SnG i would let em go as if i was only 33% to win, im 67% to lose

I said MORE than 33%, which is the odds he's being offered (by my quick math, may be off lil). Which makes calling here +EV

ya it depends on the route you choose to take in your sngs, i tend to not play the +EV situations as much as play the +rank in tournament situations.
ex: two people are all in before me and if one gets knocked out i will be ITM but if i call and lose i will be out. Here i may lown a top5 hand.

I think I'd have to call with this as well - there are only two hands that you're behind. I'm hoping to be against an under pair and something like AK (or if you're really lucky, AQ or AJ).
Of course, with that you say people are pushing with (why can't I find a SnG like that any more), you could be in way better shape than that.I'm CDO. It's like OCD, but everying is in order just like it should be.

Seems like most of the $5 SNG's on Stars are like that...usually until it gets about 6 handed
