Default LAck of tens?

Good starting hand, raised to get it headsup, got it, awesome flop, good turn, only fearing QT (and not even given the preflop action). BUT, do you play this like this becuase half the tens are accounted for and the chances of them having one are reduced? It was apparent by the river (and before) of the strrong chance she had one. And I think I actually lost money to the rake here. Nope made .15.

Okay - I'll give is a shot, but it's probably wrong because it's....you know.....me. Here's what I though when I first read it, but was waiting for others to reply to see how wrong I was:

I'd say you HAVE to take into account that given the fact that you have two 10's, it's a whole lot less likely for her to have one. That being said, you also can't get it into your head that she CAN'T have one because you've got two (I played a hand once when 3 kings hit the board and about the only thing that could have beaten me was the 4th king - with three of them out, no WAY he's got the 4th, right? Guess who lost).

I guess the thing I would have done differently is slow down on the river - it gets to the point of what else do you put her on? Unless she's shown herself to be either clueless or a mainiac, I don't see what she could be re-raising with OTHER than a 10 with that board. If you think she's a decent player I don't see how you could think she'd keep re-raising like that with 2 pair or a set. The fear in the back of my mind would be that she's got Q10 and I'm beat. I think I'd just call her river bet and hope expect to split the pot.

I most likely would have played it the same. I tend to give shortstacked ppl less credit for a hand, though by the time she leads into you on the river after you capped the turn, she probably has the ten.

Unless she's CRAZY!

You had two of the tens and in a limit game, you played it perfectly street by street, I think.
