Also the massive overbet was the put a damper on any flush draws

What's with the power-check on the Turn? You already had the str8 made so inducing others to to simply call couldn't be a reason. Or was this a fishy way to induce a raise?

I think others are also thinking 'Tricky' and rather than raise are inclined to just call although if I'm on the receiving end of a power-check I'm more likely to raise to see if I'm still ahead or about to re-raised by a monster hand.

i was pretty sure someone was gonna raise me, i took down a pot with a minibet few hands before that so figured wasnt happening again
