I haven't played Poker for several weeks. Today was my first day back in the game. I was eliminated in the first thirty minutes of the Tournament. Why? I didn't think before I acted that's why. Because it was my first tournament back, I couldn't slow down.
The blinds were 15 and 30. I was holding A3o (o = offsuit) on the big blind and raised to 60. The rest of the table folded except for the small blind. He re-raised me by 30. Along with being impatient, I ignored the fact that he was a tight-aggressive player. Re-raising from him, no matter how big or small, is an obvious sign. I called and we went to the flop.
The flop came Q, 9, 7 (non-suited cards). First to act, he bet the pot (180). That was the second sign that I ignore. I don't know why, but I kept saying to myself, "BLUFF HIM! BLUFF HIM!" So I did, how much I bluffed with was my third mistake. I went all-in with 1160! However, I wasn't all in because he had less chips.
He called and showed KK versus my A3o. Afterwards, I was eliminated because I was short-stacked and had to go all-in once again.

God. That is pathetic.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.
