Hey, is there something wrong with defending my favorite player. I agree bonch, Phil is "fGood at tournament pOCOR " and if stevo would have had aces he would have folded the kings, but if stevo would have had queens, he would have called with kings. It doesn't matter what you have, he is going to make the right read on you EVERY TIME.

Hellmuth doesn't fold KK on a regular basis or even often. There was a clip where he folded them and said that it was only the 7th or 8th time that he'd done so. Hellmuth plays his chips in tournaments, not his cards. He hates putting a lot of chips in the middle, as I do. I like to see some more cards before I put a ton of chips in the middle with QQ, JJ, or AK. I can say that I've only folded KK once before the flop and it was in a live game with a player that has an extensive book on me as I do on him. I showed them and laughed and he showed them back.

Extremely rare situations justify folding KK preflop and I mean extremely.

I completely agree with everything you just said alex. You said "I like to see some more cards before I put a ton of chips in the middle with QQ, JJ, or AK". If this is true, how come you don't agree with me about the post with the guy facing an all in with JJ. This is pretty much my philosophy too.

Thank you, Beav. I can almost guarandamntee that Hellmuth pushes with JJ in this spot. Look at his TT hand against Chan in TOC on ESPN. Hellmuth is in my top 5 of favorite players as well.

Because its a 4 handed game, you already put quite a few chips in the pot, and he had a better hand than you. Maybe thats why you are upset, you got called by a BETTER HAND.

im not blind, although the guy that had jack jack is lol. I really don't take it into consideration thats it 4-handed, according to how the hand was played and making the read that I could either have (aa kk qq or ace king ) i think jj should have folded. You may say, well how come I could only have those 4 hands, well thats just me, im predictable in that regard, and when i make that play, its one of those 4 hands guranteed. This may not be a good thing, but thats just a fact.

If you like to see more cards before you put a ton of chips in the middle with AK, why did you push all in? lol...

I wasn't even upset that he called, it was a race and i ended up winning the hand. I just thought it was a bad call.

I will push in because i like this agressive play, put a man to a descicoin for all his chips. Its different then calling off all your chips. As that one announcer says "agression is awarded in this game"
