Not being results oriented, but I think that is a weak fold.....

Given the stack sizes against you, why didn't you just put them all in for $17?
There's got to be at least one or two dominated A's there . . . just hope it's not the BB who has the pair.
That's what I would do if these were tourney chips . . . . but you guys are much better at ring games so maybe I'm full of shit . . .Jason75: Ok, you check and the button bets 400. Now what?
Beavis68: You play poker.
Jason75: Darn, I was really hoping for canasta. Maybe Gin.

i think this is a great fold. CO RRs a UTG raise, after multiple callers. This usually means KK/AA right off the bat. Unless you have a read on CO to do these types of RRs with complete bullshit just to take down the pot, this is a clear fold. Ur OOP, even if u flat call, you will pair only 1/3 of the time, given the fact that co RRed it pf, you can almost guarantee this guy is going to cb it on the flop. This means 2/3 of the time you will have to check-fold flop. And if you do pair on the flop, and manage to get all his money in, you are probably dominated to his AA/KK, or splitting the pot to his AK.
Add in the fact that there were multiple callers of the preflop raise and RR, means that many of ur outs are already gone. If you decide to push, even if u get called by QQ from CO, im guessing ur drawing to less then 50/50 cuz of the fact that ur outs could be gone.
i make this fold 100% of the time.

Maybe at $100 - $200NL this is an easy fold.
However I have never ever folded AK and seen a 3 way all in involving AT, AJ and Q2!

I am with eclispse. calling is at best break even. so much action you really dont even know what your outs are.
Man. I wish I could find tables like this.

I dunno, I push here. I mean AA or KK is a possibilty, but monsters in the closet... I'm more than happy to get my money in with suited AK with the odds hes getting offered. I dont think we're a 3:1 dog in this situation and thats the odds were getting (even better once MP2 calls). Like Wowwaster said, mabye at higher limits I'm giving my opponents credit for bigger hands, but not at $25nl.
BB is t100
Preflop: Hero is UTG with :3d :5d,
Hero raises to t500

I think I prefer pushing here. Given the stack sizes in play, you are going to get 2-3 chances to win this hand if the same players come along.
I think you will recover enough each time to make this a long term way +EV play. We're not looking at this win/lose, some times we will win just vs the big stack, recovering some, sometimes we will win it all. The 'insurance' this provides give's us good equity here.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
