    Default AKo preflop- too aggressive?

    No particular read on the guy, was MTT

    (& for a change, I got lucky on the flop...he had KK as you can see below)

    Button (t1910)

    Hero (t6000)
    UTG+1 (t2715)
    MP1 (t3260)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, A.
    Hero raises to t300, 1 fold, MP1 raises to t500, 6 folds, Hero raises to t6000, MP1 calls t2760 (All-In).

    Flop: (t9410) A, A, T (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Turn: (t9410) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

    River: (t9410) T (2 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: t9410

    Results in white below:
    Hero has Kc Ah (full house, aces full of tens).
    MP1 has Kd Kh (two pair, aces and kings).
    Outcome: Hero wins t9410.

    well... I would say yes... nomather what the result is.

    minimum re-raise are always suspicious, especialy preflop.

    Ak is a drawing hand and here, you know you are drawing. He cant have Ax, (if this guy is no a maniac). So he have AK or a PP. Call and see what happen...

    you have plety of chips to play poker, use it! You are not even close of the lottery stage of the tournament. You dont want to risk all (most) youy chips for a coin flip!

    Frankly that's what I was expecting (or QQ or lower). Maybe it's because at the low stakes, guys are craving for ace-x.

    Also, if he plays supertight, he'd have to fold KK since I could have AA. So I wasn't really expecting a call except by AA of course.
