    Default what would you do?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($6.41)
    Button ($3.74)
    SB ($2.90)
    BB ($5.36)
    UTG ($12.41)

Preflop: Hero is MP with Q, Q.
UTG calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.3, 3 folds, UTG calls $0.25.

    Flop: ($0.67) 9, 5, A (2 players)
UTG bets $0.5, Hero calls $0.50.

    Turn: ($1.67) 4 (2 players)
    UTG bets $11.61 (All-In),

This bet made me so frustrated with him, and i didnt know what to do, but figured i brought it upon myself by not raising the flop and finding out where i was. Anyway what would you do?

Only a or beats you right? Call.

I would think about folding if it was more money but still probably call... it would be a tough lay-down

    Default Call, I gotsta call...

Raising the flop would have given you some information...but given the situation you are in on the turn, I'd call. This huge push almost looks desparate to me. At this level I put him on an Ax or a single spade smaller than yours. If he has the K o'spades, his push was not a great play. If he has the straight-flush, his push only makes sense if he thinks you have the K o'spades. My absolute best guess is he has a J or T of spades.

I would actually worry more if he simply made a pot-sized bet here. Sure, I always get a knot in my stomach when faced with these situations, but I like your chances of taking this one. If you're not drawing dead, he has four outs, at best.

5 handed, you look good, real good, unless you know something about this guy prior to this hand that I don't. If so, share it and I'll re-evaluate or stay the same.

nothing on this guy barely been playing with him, and no hands to go by i usually multitable 6-max games but hadnt been at this one long enough to get a good read on the guy, hence the reason why i was torn on this decision

Now I'm not saying this guy is highly skilled but...

The all-in is an emotional bet - the reason it works is because ppl call it.

At this level all-in with the nuts will get enough callers to justfy it.

    This is clearly a 50/50 call..lol.

With a short stack this is an eay call- but you've moved into a table deep stack (or he's just joined). This is the problem with DS and unknown players..

If he's loose he's likely to have got the king and if he's loose he's also likely to bluff it. The only clear cut move is a a fold against a very, very tight player.

The problem is that against a loose player (50/50) you can not put down every time (even with a small pot) so once I had the reads and idenftiied it as a 50/50 against a loose player I look at my cards and ask "what have I got?"

In this case you have two queens of a DIFFERENT colour so it's a fold

If they had been the same colour then ts a call. In this way you will get a 50/50 ratio over the long term.

    Just play your cards
See me playing $10/$20NL like it was play money

i think he has a jack ofspades here, prob has ace jack hence his call on the preflop and post flop.

if he holds big slick with king kicker, but with 1 card that can beat u in the deck i call he beats me, but i think he min raises that hand

if he holds 23 an calld my raise, i quit poker

edit, just realized he bet out...

so heres what i think he holds 88 /1010 again one of them being a spade, a j with j spades
