What a homo.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

^^ Quite possible of course if he didn't hit it there the river really makes it obvious, I've seen him bluff at pots at times as well, but is this an easy laydown on the turn?

I think Villian has KQ, but this one's up to you. I just looked at the results (which you shouldn't be posting yet, if you want feedback). But with 11.75 bets in the pot, and I'm not a big river odds guy, because there are no outs. All you have is read. How strong was it?
Obviously, your doubts said to call, but I would fold. The only question left is did you call out of stubborness, honest doubt, or math? You don't necessarily have to answer this here. You can look back on it and keep it to your self, but...
Answering this honestly helps nobody except you. Being dishonest helps nobody and REALLY hurts you.

i lay the jacks down, that board sreams straight esp when he bets into me on the river not to mention his reraise on the jack which is a diseaster card for you
kq could of beat you on the turn, id call it a check/fold from there on out
though i did look at the results but not after i guessd at what he held, got it right but not with his pocket hand, obviously a jackal

Good points Alex, the turn could've been a semi bluff with an OESD (although I doubt he would've capped)...the river (even if it was a semi bluff) gave him his card and honestly it was a crying call. Antneye brought up a pont the other day about a possibilty of folding too often on the river for big pots. (I'm kinda in a funk right now, with my current run of the last 10K hands or so. Which hopefully is just running bad )
I don;t mind bearing my soul here...I already did it in the general section with all my stats. My original read (after he capped the turn) was the same as yours. I was better than 95% confident on the river I was beat...but I guess it was a combination of stubborness, math, and curiousity.Last edited by Pok 7's; 05-30-2006 at 10:36 PM.

Pok...I havent looked at results and don't need to. You are probably beat, but I would make the crying call on river.
Although this is the exact type of hand I was questioning when I asked my q about how big does the pot have to be before you consider it a must call. Your poker sense tells you he hit strt, but you are getting 12:1. Your "sense" only needs to be wrong 1 out of 12 times to make this a profitable call.
IMO once he raised you on turn you should have slowed down and not re-raised. Just call and call down on river.

I agree that once he re-raises on the turn you just have to call it down. Especially with that K on the river.
This is the exact reason why I hate limit hold'em, these sort of things p**s me off. In no limit you can over bet the pot on the flop and push him out in limit there is nothing you can do to stop him chasing.
Bad Beat of the week 27/08/2006:
:kh :jd
Flop - :jc :3s :6d I raise 2/3 pot, Villian calls.
Turn :kd - I raise to put villian all in, he calls
he flips over :4d :4s
River :4c
