I stopped reading when I got to this line. Anybody who plays this trash doesn't need critiquing, he needs a kick in the ass!

J4o only has 8.6% equity (thats to the river) in this scenario. thats 12-1 ish. Given implied odds, you did not have enough odds to call here.
J4o is SO weak it is not playable from any position. I try to fold it in the BB, but they won't let me.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

Yeah, but in tournaments when you can get in for this cheap...sometimes you are looking to get lucky, which he did. Admit it, you dont always go by the odds and probabilities, sometimes you just go with your guts.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

So since I was getting 13:1 I was getting enough direct odds, and implied odds only make it better not worse. The flop I slowplayed (the point of my posting - this a bad idea?). The turn was scary, but I had 4 outs to improve so 2:23 or about 1:12. so I'd need to win a pot of 960 to breakeven, and with a pot of 600 on the turn, thats not unreasonable. And thats assuming somenone has the flush (not always the case here). If there isnt a flush, I'm almost certainly good. Then checking the river is another question I had, is it too passive?

The odds of flopping 2 pair from 2 unsuited is 49:1 ( www.homepokergames.com/odds.php )

LOL. If you are going to put 10 chips in what more do you hope to see than 2pairs? If I am playing J4 there I would be prepared to go all in on that flop. Cant put anybody else on J5 and if you lose to trips so be it.

Yup, as Wota said, if you are going to call the 10 chips to see a flop then have the balls to push the two pair.
Otherwise fold preflop.
