I had been playing at this table for about an hour with this guy and had only been going in and seeing flops about 20% of the time, even less. I feel i played this hand great because i knew the guy had A-rag and bet appropriately to try and get him to fold. Do you think his calling was loose or my betting was stupid?

I don't like the all in on the turn, if you knew he had A rag then you knew you were still behind after the turn and the fact he had called your $3 pre flop (obviously hoping to hit an ace) then the $5 on the flop having hit the ace he was looking for makes me think he aint chucking it away.
if you had position on him and he had checked the turn, you could have then tried it but (rightly or wrongly) he seems happy with his ace so I think it's time to let this bluff go.
I'm not much of a ring game player so don't take this as gospel, just my 2 pennies worth.Bad Beat of the week 27/08/2006:
:kh :jd
Flop - :jc :3s :6d I raise 2/3 pot, Villian calls.
Turn :kd - I raise to put villian all in, he calls
he flips over :4d :4s
River :4c

If you "know", or at least have a good suspicion you're behind, it is NEVER a good play to push. If this guy has a habit of playing weak aces, he's probably not smart enough to fold them if he hits an ace.

I'm not much of a NL ring player so take it for what it's worth. Maybe I'm too tight but I don't think I'm raising JTs UTG, or pushing it at any point with 2 overs on the flop.
What type of player was the other guy, if he was a calling station, bad idea.
If the players acting after you had similar tendencies (call any A, 2 suited type players), bad idea.
I could be wrong here but I can't see any good in this at all.If you're looking to borrow money or have someone give you money in order to play poker online please don't contact me... Click Here for help , and explain your situation.

The raise UTG with J10s is questionable in my opinion considering you had a small stack in comparison to the other players at the table.
If you want to bluff and try to take the pot down on the flop, fine... but you have to bet way more then $5 into a $12 pot. Try 80-100% of the pot next time... The all-in on the turn is horrible, especailly if you know he is on a A-rag. You have only 3 outs if he calls, and you betting $16 into a $22 dollar pot. The guy is getting close to 2.5 to 1 on his money to call here. Even if he had mid pair (something like QK clubs) with a decent draw he probaly calls, and will happy to find out hes already ahead of you."On a large enough time line, the survival rate of a Donk will drop to zero."

You played the hand poorly, you said you knew he had A-rag, yet you gave him all your chips. People who play Ax don't fold when they hit top pair, thats why they are great to have at your table, your play was simply retarded.

J10s is a dangerous hand, its used to be my favorite hand b/c of all the straight/flush possibilites. But I never, I mean NEVER want to see you raise UTG with J10s. If the table is passive, limping is ok, but if theres a good chance theres gonna be a raise behind you just muck it.
If you were the button or the CO and it was folded to you then this would be an ok play. Also its alot harder to bluff as a shortstack (beavis before you say it - I know it can be done). If you had made a $16-18 bet with a stack that had him covered on the turn, he might be more likely to lay it down.
Also you say this guy is playing less than 20% of hands, thats even more reason to check fold on this flop.BB is t100
Preflop: Hero is UTG with :3d :5d,
Hero raises to t500
