.....how would you have played this hand?
I realise this is the exact reason you don't play AJ but assuming you got yourself into this mess like I did, how would you play it differently?
Early in a 3 table SnG, no reads on anyone. The table has been pretty average although the villain has raised PF 3 hands in a row. As soon as the flop came and UTG+1 check/called, I put him on a big hand. At that point I told myself I was done with the hand until the turn came and I made 2 pair.

looks ok to me, not a flop I want to invest too much in vs a raiser.

Should I have folded the turn or was I obligated to call?

Well 1st put a note on UTG+1 being a calling station of the 1st order! Flops a set and calls all the way to showdown - donk!
OK, ignoring the flop as requested, why didn't you raise the turn? Or check-fold if you figured the str8? Calling was the worse action you can make (see calling station above).
Either you own the hand or you're folding on the turn I'm thinking.

He is assuming someone hit their straight, but he has implied to call to hit a boat dont you think?

Think about this one, what hands that were ahead of you on the flop are now behind that you made two pair? KQ is the only hand. Hitting the jack does nothing to improve the relative strength of your hand, infact it decreases the strength b/c A10 is now ahead.

4 outs to make full house x 1 draw = 10.5:1 and the pot was only offering 5.1:1. He'd have to go all-in on the river (and get called) to get paid with implied odds. That may happen if opps does have a str8 but with only an 8% chance of catching the FH that's a mighty big maybe.

Since im not good at working out with ratios....hes got about a 9% chance of hitting that FH and hes putting in about 14% into the pot..He needs to get about 555 more into the pot on the river so i guess the call is borderline.

Not really. . . . I don't think we can count the A as an out most of the time here. We'd lose to AK, AQ, which are entirely plausible holdings.

Beavis68: You play poker.
Jason75: Darn, I was really hoping for canasta. Maybe Gin.
