He called preflop - this sometimes means a big hand they don't want to "waste"

He min bets the flop, which suggests he wants action and he's not afraid of your check-raise on the flop.

He raises the turn but not all in, he's still hoping you call.

At the very least I'd say he had a better ace (which would be a split pot) though Ak, A4 or K4 wouldn't surprise me.

(Unless of course he's a total fish in which case well played, some sort of read on the guy heads up is pretty important)

From the looks of the stack sizes, I'd say this is the 2nd hand? I'm not sure I'd be going apeshit this soon . . . . . HU is about reading your opponent, and you're flying blind here.

Given your weak kicker, I think I'd just check/call this one down.
Jason75: Ok, you check and the button bets 400. Now what?
    Beavis68: You play poker.
Jason75: Darn, I was really hoping for canasta. Maybe Gin.

Default Here's a comment from the suckiest HU player ever...

I'd say you are beat...at least facing a stronger Ace. The raise on the turn could be an attempted bluff...but a really dumb one against a CRer on the flop.

    Curiously waiting the results.

Not sure how you guys can offer advice on this one without knowing some history on the guy. HU is all about history.

And yeah, if you have "feelings" in HU play, you gotta run with them.

I'd say were ahead 75% of the time here vs an average player, so I think you did goot.

Theres nothing wrong with the quick KO in a HU match. That way you can avoid the later stages of a HU match (Stages of a heads-up SnG)
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
