This is maybe a somewhat generic/theoretical question.
What kind of hands are good for blind stealing, assuming nobody else has bet before you, and nobody after you will (say you're on the button)
Assuming the blinds are no maniacs and play solid poker.

Stealing blinds- what kinda hands do you use?

I use a variety of hands in that situation, but the deciding factor is if I will care or not if I get called. If it's a hand that I wouldn't really mind seeing a flop with, I go for it.

Thanks Marm- a question though, what's the point in stealing blinds in ring games, when the blinds are low compared to stack sizes?

I forgot to mention that I mean NL tourneys mainly.
(Although situation would be same in ring games with high blinds)

because blinds = $, regardless of your stack. your not really stealing blinds imo in cash; your betting in situations where you have an edge (position and inniciated agression). when you have this edge + good flop skills blind stealing in ring games becomes +EV
