I have been playing at the $10+1 STTs and have made up a bank roll of $600 from about $100. I was thinking it is time to put my stakes up to $20+2, the question I have is...
Do the players get much better from 10 buck tables to 20 and also will my $600 be enough to play $20 tables and sustain any bad runs I may have.

Depending on how good you are running, and how much variance is in your game, You can play with 20-50 buy-ins. I'm starting to recommend keeping 40 buy-ins.
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.

Remember you dont have to play exclusively $10 or exclusively $20. Play a mixture, track results and see for yourself if there's a difference.

i agree with wota always have a spread sheet of tourneys youve played in including the buy-in so you can compare your results, and also with marm, 20 buyins minimum for any kind of tourneys, if you are going to start a new limit, try to have 40.

yeah, set aside some bank to take a few shots at it.
It really depenends on the site I think. I have played some sites where the 5s where tighter than the 20s.
