I love the notion of raising the turn. Good read.

I hate your raise though. Raising it to 300 or 325 would've been a lot more effective in your true goal which was making him laydown his pair that couldn't beat Kings. The minimum raise comes off as a value bet, but is still gonna get called. You don't want that. An overbet reeks of a bluff. You want to win the pot. If you're gonna take a stab, take a stab. Don't poke at it.

That raise is going to have to work about 40% of the time to show any profit.... will it work that often?

I wasn't at this table, so I say the notion of the raise is good. This pot was 480 at the time of this play (180+90+90+120) and position makes this a good play. After the call, you wanna back off and you still have chips. You were in good bluff position. If he calls, that's just bad timing- the right play against the wrong person.

I am not sure my math is right anyway, it could be less that it needs to be effective.

Poker math is strange, still don't have all the concepts down.

If you subtract the pot equit, and count the amount to call as the pot, AND YOU HAVE TO CALL, it could be much lower - like 20%.
