Default Thoughts?

First 2 or 3 orbits at the table hands at the table, I caught a few nice hands after 1st sitting down and got up about $10-15 from those hands. Being I was new at the table people were tending to look me up on the hands I was involved in. UTG+1 is a LAA 32.5/8.9/1.78.

Should this have been played differently?

I wouldn't start to classify this guy as a maniacal style player yet, but he is a LAA. He has Good PF raising tendancies and Good aggression. He just tends to limp in more to see a lot of flops. So, In my mind, I'm asking, how far does he take marginal hands? So we need to look at his WSD. If it's high (say >35-40) Then I'd bet each street for value.

Ok Just noticed that its multiway and theres a flush draw out there. Leaving precious statement up cause I think it has some decent points pertaining to HU play here.

I think I Limp PF (we're goign to end up with the same # of players IMO), check the Flop, but bet the turn. And go likewise ballistic on the river.

WSD % for UTG+1 is 46.15

Oh yes, he could have anything. And if he had a boat, we would have heard about it long before, so we can easily cap this river.

I pretty much play that the same way. I might limp PF but I don't mind a raise at all. Flop play might be a check, but I like how you stayed aggressive and played the hand strongly throughout. Tough break that you lost.

I don't love the pre-flop raise. I don't mind betting the flop, but I probably don't bet the turn when everyone calls me down. I am now assuming I am behind and playing this as a marginal draw. 5 outs....but kings are tainted.

With that said......There is no way I am backing down on this river. You would have heard from AQ, 88, AA or 33 by now. I don't see any other plausible holdings.....if you are beat mark this clown down in your "little fish book" and follow him around.

My PF raise was more to try to drive out the button and SB, not because it was a great starting hand. Form MP and LP I'll mix up raising/ limping with KQ, if I get a lot of folds to me in CO or button though I'm raising almost always.

If UTG+1 hadn't already come along, I woulda said that was fine... but with a limper already in, I don't like it. KQs maybe, but I'd still limp. I'm really looking to limp then fold on the flop if I miss, rather than get my self in a war with a marginal hand. You are also goign to get eh same number of guys coming. Then Check the flop when the CR slowplays his hand, then if It gets checked around on again on the turn, Then I wake up.
