I concur, couldn't have played it better.
A good education is expensive but ignorance costs more.

do you think i should often make plays like these or very rarely? i don't want to come across that hand with someone who had AQ but i guess i was representing that hand so i managed to get away with it

You should be careful not to overplay 95s and other monsters like 63o and J2s, if you get them wrong you will be beaten by fish who only play hands like AQ when they hit top pair top kicker.

There is also a small chance that if you pair your 9 that you may be outkicked by idiots playing 96 and 97.

Irexes, your play sounds to me like you're just simply tight.
You're one of the kind of people that will only play A10 up and raise standard raises like 3x 4x the blinds preflop with big hands like JJ-AA. I fail to see where you mix up your play and the fact you always seem to go against anything that even hints the chance of being aggressive probably means you've never bluffed once in your life. Mix up your game and you might find poker a lot more fun/profitable. gl with that

This belongs in the glory corner. Clearly you played your 95s perfectly and this hand does not require any criticism at all.
