Opinions on this SnG hand
This is a SnG hand from last night:
Poker Stars
No Limit Holdem Tournament
Blinds: t10/t20
9 players
Converter
Stack sizes:
UTG: t60
UTG+1: t1870
MP1: t1300
MP2: t1150
MP3: t3080
CO: t1470
Button: t1540
Gir: t1550
BB: t1480
Pre-flop: ( 9 players) Gir is SB with
3 folds, MP2 calls t20 (pot was t30), MP3 folds, CO calls t20 (pot was t50), Button calls t20 (pot was t70), Gir calls t10 (pot was t90), BB raises to t20, MP2 calls t20 (pot was t100), CO calls t20 (pot was t120), Button calls t20 (pot was t140), Gir calls t20 (pot was t160).
Flop: ( t100, 5 players)
Gir bets t50, BB raises to t100, MP2 calls t100 (pot was t250), 2 folds, Gir calls t50 (pot was t350).
Turn: ( t400, 3 players)
Gir checks, BB checks, MP2 checks.
River: ( t400, 3 players)
Gir bets t150, BB raises all-in t1340, MP2 calls all-in t1010, Gir does what?? (pot was t2900)
So was able to see a cheap flop with a suited king. Can't say I really had any reads on any of these guys. The flop bet was kind of a combination semi-bluff / feeler bet. All along I had Mp2 on a flush draw. The BB I wasn't too sure about. With the min raise on the flop I thought maybe he had a J and was trying to build a pot, then his check on the flop confused me a bit.
I hit my flush on the river and make a smallish bet hoping to get paid off, and all of a sudden this guy wakes up and pushes. I wasn't too woried about MP2's call because I thought he hit his flush and I had the nut. Could the BB have AJ and been slowplaying a FH? Could he have had JTs and rivered his FH, would he have min raised PF with that? Why else would he wake up like that after the flush card came (I did NOT put him on a flush draw for sure).
What do you do here - do you lay this down or make the call?

Well obviously he isn't up against a higher flush, and I serioulsy doubt your facing a full house. More likely a straight.
Call.

First off, How can UTG fold?
Secondly, I'm really liking this converter better than Bisons since it shows Odds at each action.
Ok, to the Hand. Good limp, K5s has great potential if it hits, and you can fold it without even a first thought if you miss. And of course we have to call the raise.
Flop. This is an action flop, theres goign to be some, and we have a drawing hand. I check this to see what the other 40 people in the hand do first. I'm looking to release to any major overbets. But the way it went down isn't a bad thing either. I really doubt anybody flopped a boat, given the PF action, so Our flush draw is probably live.
Turn. Nobodies got a jack.... Cool.
River. A boatload of draws jsut arrived, and yours is one of the better possible hands. I think Only JT is beating us here, but I wouldn't be overly surprised to see J9. But given the previous actions, I'm kinda doubting a jack is in play.... soooooo.... I'm leaning towards MHIG, and that we're up against Another good flush vs Broadway. I think I call this.

the only thing I can say is that I HATE you bet on the flop.
poker 101, dont bet draws OOP and if you do, I would overbet the pot a bit.

What level SNG is that?
I fold unless I have a good read on players.
To cold call an all in reraise on river with paired board I would expect a good player to have full house.

Well I'm not sure how good of a player we are talking about here. BB: Min Raises Twice. MP2 (who has already probably donked off 1/3 of his stack): Call Call Call Call. I
'mm thinking now that I'm tired that BB's got AK/AQ. He min raised the flop trying to see what would happen, he then fears a Jack on the turn since he got two callers, and then on the river, since nobody bet the turn, his pair of aces must be good, so he better overbet the pot to make sure all the smaller hands that would pay him off will fold and only the hands that beat him call.

do NOT bet the flop like you did, see your flush as cheap as possible, then stack everyone that has a straight or trip jacks. no way you can fold.

I call and pay any FH. I wouldn't be too surprised if there was a jack out there though.

No bet on the flop!!!!!! I doubt you are, but you can potentialy be drawing dead! See these kind of flush draw as cheap as you can...
River I call...
If that T gave him a FH, pay him... my guess is any hand with a J (including JT) but J9 but would have bet the turn in BBs position... and AJ would have flat call the flop IMO...
99 or TT almost fit the action... but minimum raise pre flop sounds like AT, AQ IMO...
I bet I'm wrong, cause you would'nt have post!
