That can be a tricky one.

    Two options

    1) raise as you did and take the safe route

    2) call and hope for action on the turn

Option 1) gives you a small pot most of the time and only occassionally builds a bigger one.

Option 2) doesn't give the game away about your hand but gives the other guys the potential to improve and beat you (the flush being the most worrying). There is however a lot more likelihood of getting more action on the turn and building bigger pot.

It's a question of what you are trying to achieve and at various points in a tourney and with different size stacks I'd play it both ways. Early on like this situation when doubling up can be a huge advantage, I'd call the flop bets and take a small chance in order to potentially win a large pot.

    Ahh but the flush draw.

I thik you HAVE to raise this just to protect it against the draw. not sure if you made it 400 or 500 to go, but thats offering just over 2-1 odds there if it was 400 to go. That was an excellent bet. Incorrect odds for the flush, and any bigger K would have to pop it right there. Not sure what Muti would have that he could fold it on the raise for almost identical odds.......
Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
