    Default Did I over play A 10s

This was a 5 player SnG. No Limit HE. The Villian was a loose aggr player and looking back over my hand history I probably could have chopped away at his stack and finished first by playing tight. Should I have just called the his PF raise and then made a move if the flop improved my hand? I am not real sure as to the strength of A 10s in a heads up match?

Any guidence would be greatly appreciated

A10 in a HU match is a monster. Here you've got a player who is loose aggressive, making your hand even that much stronger.

You got it all in the middle with the best hand and were outdrawn. It happens. Don't question your play here because of that.

HU anything goes imo - u can win with just being delt 72o each hand. it's all about the aggressor, you HAVE to be more aggressive than the other and you were. I guess he called cus he thought had 2 live cards and assumed it was worth the risk to get you out of the tourny

Welcome to the forum. Nice first post - used a converter, and described the villain. Bravo.

ATs HU is a very good hand, IMO. Your stack is less than 4M (M=BB+SB). That means you have only 5-8 hands before you are toast. Definitely cannot count on a better opportunity to get your chips in the middle. I think pushing was your best/only option. Sucks that he outdraws you.

You were the favorite when the chips went in, not much more you can do.

    Hello,

Well played, you even had some small chance of making him fold in there as a bonus.
