I'd have considered caping the turn. Not sure what to make of his check on the river - is he afraid of the straight? After all the action ont he turn does he stil lhink he can check raise you?

The play looks good, after he donk called the flop and check raised the turn he is either completely full of it or has you in really, really bad shape.

Expect to see 2 pair or a set almost everytime here against your average micro player, no idea why he checked the river I would check behind though he may be full of it but if he is he probably isn't calling with a worse hand here.

I think you need some reads on your opponent to have a better idea if he is capable of doing this with air.

That river is really odd, sometimes fish confuse so much they appear absolutely brillant!

I had no read, but it felt like he thought I was dumb enough to get check raised twice in a row. I did not think he was calling with anything I could beat, and betting would have exposed me to a raise so I checked behind.

I will hold off on posting results for now.

Ok,

I was holding off waiting to hear from growlers....but I think he is a vampire or something and only comes out at night.

Villain hit his set on the turn.

This really ticked me off because there is no way on earth he should be drawing here. He was a typical fish who sucked out.....hand #2 from my worst session in a week.

And this guy compunds his idiocy by trying to check-raise me on the river...............if we were sitting at a live table I may have punched him.

Errrr..... why not 3 bet turn? Why no bet river? Bet this for value. Nothing he could be holding makes sense short of A6s.

or aq or ak or 88 or 66 or......

i play this the same, bluff turn raises are not that common and usually check raise on the turn means two pair or better.

With the Jack kicker and no draw on the board, I might have checked the turn after he called the flop and the PF raise in the blinds. With no read, I don't mind the way that you played it, though.

EDIT: I'm poker-retarded today. This is 6 max. I definitely like the way you played it.
