Default How do you play at loose tables?

I signed up for KiD[ReD]'s CD Poker deal and I've found the tables to be full of players who love to see a flop every hand.

Tons of money in every pot, but I can't win!

I've been playing only quality hands, but if 6 people see the flop every hand, then I just can't seem to win.

    For example(playing limit)...
I have AK. I raise pre-flop. 6 people enter the pot.
The Flop is K83-rainbow. I raise... 3 callers.
    Turn is a 6(K836). I raise... 1 caller.
River is a J(K836J). Villian raises. I call, thinking that he must have KJ or JJ.

He shows 86o for two pair.

Hands like this make me wonder what the hell he was thinking when he called preflop. I've also been getting very frustrated because hands like these have become the norm rather than the exception.

Sorry, I didn't want to rant.. I wanted to get some advice as to how to play at tables like this. I've seen some suggestions that I should play tight(which I have been doing). I've seen other suggestions that I should play looser and see more flops, but then fold if I don't catch at least TPTK.

Please help me! This site is killing me!

I have that problem too in the nolimit tourneys. People pay 1/3 of their stack to call with 89 preflop and they call all the way to showdown and win with a lucky straight or flush. Maybe it's because they got pot-committed after investing 1/3 of their stack already.

Do play tightagressive, but see cheap flops with suited connectors or Ax suited and kx suited. Position is less important in low stakes. don't be mad when you lose, your wins should make up for it.

Are you playing limit or no limit?

Hmm.. I've probably been playing pretty close to that dot. I guess I probably do end up chasing alot of dead money out by raising, but at the same time I'm happy to just win a hand rather than getting sucked out.

I've recently moved down to some lower limits. I'm trying to use it as "training" on how to play at a loose table. Playing at the lower limit allows me to experiment more than I normally would.

    Thanks for the responses.
