I was fairly new to this table only had a few hands on both players but so far they were pretty loose players and seemed to call down a fair amount of the hands they were in.
I mainly concerned about my turn play...raise to build the pot, see the next card as cheap as possible, etc.?

I play the exact same way you did... You are certainly not favorite anymore to win this pot after this 6 on turn... however, you definatately have the odds to call, but a raise would be a semi bluff.

The semi-bluff on the turn was a good play IMO but once the turn was bet and re-raised - you have to figure one of them has a str8 - there is little point in pushing the semi-bluff into a probable made hand. With 9 outs to the flush your 4:1 to draw on the river - odds you have with a call after the SB's raise but a re-raise by you to 3 bets and a possible cap would blow your odds right out of the water. You're only 'correct' play to to call and hope the BB doesn't screw it up with his own re-raise.
Nice catch -
