Default When to move up?

I've been playing .02/.04 limit to build a medium br for .01/.02 NL
I have $61.49 now, I started with 4.33 or something. I have played two 5+.5 and have came in 2nd in each.

When should I start playing .05/.1 and consistantly play 5+.5, I dont want to ruin my br like I did last time. (started with 5 made it to 50~ then went to under $5.00)

8.) WTF are you playing .01/.02 with a 60 dollar bankroll. Stay in the .02/.04 micro limit game!

I would stay till 150, but I like to be safe with my bankroll. As for SNGs, I dunno!

"I dont want to ruin my br like I did last time." --- Yeah don't bother rushing yourself now since you're playing such small stakes... if you russh now you'll likley rush again and it'll bite you hard eventually.

Stay down and just build an extra healthy roll.

Cheers,

Mike

I'd say to stick to .01/.02 NL now and when you get to $150, go to .05/.10. I play the nickel/dime games for 30 minutes or so to cure my tilt and the games are hella soft. Stick to those for a long time soldifying your game and developing your discrimination skills more while still making a nice relative profit.

The penny NL games are to build your roll for the nickel/dime game that will make your roll grow exponentially while multi-tabling. Not cashing in $5 SNG's are detremental to your roll. One day can lose you 4 or 5 cash game buy-ins. Stick to the cash games for now, I'd say.

Default what I did

I made a promise to myself that I would only commit once to a BR, I commited $100..

I moved to 0.05/0.1 when I hit $300, I set stop-losses at $50..i.e If I fell below $250 I would move back to 0.01/0.02.. I am doing exactly the same thing now moving up..

You actually learn so much at the lower limits.. I spent four months on play money and it was only after three months that things began to click.. It is not only about learning..it is about instinct, I make a bet now because I have made it hundreds of times before.. I am prepared to lose.. and can live with that bet.. only experience.. not posts on BB .. can teach you that..

EVERY time I move up .. I make a loss.. I learn new stuff... and that costs me...I put that projected loss into my bank roll and live with it...

As for SNG's. I thnk most ppl know that my prejudice is agianst them.. I don't think you learn/play poker in them...

So, in my opinion, you should stick with it,.. you will be screaming to get out of the pennies at the end.. BUT..you will know that you can get a return of 20BB/100 if you ever need to..

Bob

be smart dont be a retart

if you are better at ring play 01/02 if you are better at s/gs play $5 s/gs

go play 1 table of 05/10 and stop if you hit $50. then go back to 01/02. when you get it back up to $60 go play 1 table of 05/10 etc

i think thats the best way
