I don't see anything wrong with it. You said he was raising every hand, but I still think you can safely say he doesn't have you beat.

Go with your read. I like it. Worst case scenario, your read tells you that if he's lucky and flopped a set, you can rebuy and win it back and more within an hour.

I dont even see why you ask... Its obviously a good play according your read.

I was putting him on a AT or KT... even Q or J T... of course turn can give him a few more outs, but you are still favorite... Even if you are a dog, you really have to be a huge dog to justify a fold here!

wow.. he really should've given up on the bluff tbh. If you were playing pretty tight he shoulda known your constant raises and calls meant you had a hand.

you did nothing wrong, mayb should've pushed him all in a little earlier to avoid him trying to draw out on you for a cheaper price

As always I am gonna play Devils Advocate.

I'd like to have seen this post if there was an A or K on the flop .. what would you have done then?

Personally I see weakness in your play just calling the flop instead of re-raising ... (perhaps the villain saw it like this too!)

If you say it was trap play .. I don't see QQ as a trapping hand against a 4 x BB raise, regardless of previous hand history.

This is a cash game right?

A re raise here lets you know where you are if you get called and at least gives you a chance to get away from A or K on the flop.

As the flop came if he called the re raise you then "know" you are ahead.

This said the push on the flop was correct.

However you won so the result speaks for itself ... but over the term I don't like the call pre flop.

Ok, my thinking PF here was, OK, he's making his standard raise, and he's been raising and calling down with JUNK, so I figured if I re-raised hard he would lay it down, but he took a another decont pot when he sucked out a FD on the river when I had a made straight so it was kind of a "lets see if I can pay him back"... Post-flop I knew he had garbage or was on a draw so I pushed, the all-inn by him on the turn was just to try and take down the pot. I knew I had him beat so I called and I was right... He had outs and thankfully he didn't catch any of them...

    pf - i re-raise this to about $12

u made the right play i guess according to ur read, on the flop and turn. you read him for a ultra aggressive maniac i guess? and therefore checked to him on the turn, knowing that he would fire again correct?

I would have made the same call, he obviously just wanted you out of the pot.
